Job Description: 

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to create amazing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface design skills, strong understanding of platform wise development and build a custom solution.

The successful candidate will be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. They will be able to transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional designs. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices along with maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.

Responsibilities:

• Create PSDs for visual layout of web pages and convert each design into HTML and CSS.
• Developing/modifying custom WordPress/Woo-Commerce /Shopify or relevant themes and plugins.
• Maintain and update all JQuery plugins for website.
• Implement and maintain high-quality SEO policies and incorporate them with content produced for the website.
• Developing and implementing highly-responsive user interface components using PHP concepts.
• Research and recommend new technologies and tools for effective integration across various platforms.
• Remove any “dead” links immediately and respond to issues with site functionality.
• Create mock-ups for proposed project pages and update them as needed.
• Professional understanding of typography, visual hierarchy, composition, and colours when creating designs.
• Designing engaging and responsive landing pages.
• Responsible for the design, layout, and coding of a website.
• Ensuring website function and stability across devices i.e. desktop, mobile, tablet
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for brand.
• Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Must be able to work independently as well as a part of the team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information systems, MCA and Mtech.
• 3-4 years of experience in WordPress development /Shopify or likewise platform.
• Must have knowledge on HTML,PHP, CSS, MYSQL, Bootstrap, JavaScript with ES6 and React, Photoshop//Figma/XD, WordPress Unit Testing (PHPUnit), other page builders like – Elementor, Divi, etc.
• Git workflow with CI/CD and recent trends in UI Design.
• Knowledge of Javascript Framework like jQuery or React
• Should have concepts of Responsive design, UX/UI design, WPRest API and WPCLI.
• Working experience with Gutenberg (e.g creating dynamic blocks), Docker and VVV.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, working with vendor partner and global team for remote support and coordination
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
• Comfortable to multitask and work in an unstructured and high growth environment.
